Hey, it's my birthday in 2 days and I want celebrate by tearing up the dance floor with lots of happy people. So, I'm calling y'all out to The Drink this Thursday for 80s Night. It'll be a rockin dance party. Bring lots of other happy people, or people who will be happy once they start dancing. (The kittens will have to stay home and have a cuddly catnip party.)

Well, the house is sold! We'll be moving the middle of Sept, hopefully to downtown. It feels great to be gypsies again and not be tied to a house. We have a lot of furniture and junk to get rid of, and will be selling or giving a lot away. I'm looking forward to having fewer possessions, or more deliberate possessions maybe. Anyway, the change is welcome and any leads on a cool space for rent downtown or near there would be appreciated.

On Friday I got tickets to go see Bjork. She's performing in Detroit on the day after my birthday!

I am playing with the End Times Orchestra at Rockys this Saturday. I would enjoy seeing lots of friends there. We've been practicing a lot and this will be our best show so far. So come and have a listen about 9pm Sat. I know you like to go to Rockys anyways...

Just bought the plane tickets out to Burning Man!! This will be year #3. Need a vacation from the real world.
